About Events
イベントについて
生徒と保護者が一緒に楽しく文化体験を提供できるように、何週間も前から計画を始め、生徒たちができるアクティビティーをたくさん準備しています。具体的なイベントの流れは、
はじめに、イベントについての絵本を読み、歴史を学ぶ。
そのイベントのキーとなる語彙や文法をそのイベント内で繰り返し活用する。
そのイベントに関係する工作を親子で作り、歌を歌う。
最後に伝統料理を食べ、リラックスをして終了。
となります。
イベントは２時間を予定していますが、その後もゆっくりと過ごしていただけます。
新しい文化を知ることは、これからの人生で良い経験となるはずです。
We have had a lot of fun sharing culture lessons with students and parents. We start planning weeks in advance and have tons of activities for students to do. We have an introduction and a small explanation of what the event is about.
We read a book about the event, learn some history,
learn key vocabulary and sentence structures that are useful for the event.
We have a craft or two that the kids enjoy doing with their family and we sing songs.
We finish by eating traditional foods and relaxing with each other.
Even though we schedule two hours for the event, we are usually having so much fun that we run over time. It’s a great experience that our students are sure to remember.
