We offer three main kinds of classes at American Academy: Mommy and Me, Early Learners, and Elementary/Middle/High School. These classes are offered based on the schedule of the students. Please see the Schedule page for more information on the schedules. We believe that learning English is a life-long endeavor and that students should be exposed to as much English as possible to become fluent. This is a major reason we have to teach children of all ages.

アメリカンアカデミーは3つのクラスを提供します：親子、幼児と低学年、中高生。これらのクラスは生徒達にあった時間帯で提供しています。コースのページをご覧ください。英語を学ぶことは、生涯努力が必要であり、英語が流暢に使えるようになるためには少しでも多くの英語に触れている必要があります。これが私たちが幅広い年齢に英語を教えている主な理由です。

MOMMY AND ME LESSON | 親子の英会話

We will learn and play in English!

This is a great transition for kids to start speaking more English. Younger students are of course not expected to repeat so much, but as they develop their speaking skills, they will learn to listen and use English more on their own! We will use hands-on learning with students being able to play with different toys, use pictures and sing to improve their communication in English. It is also a chance for the mom to develop learn and feel more confident in her English ability to use English at home after the lesson.

遊びながら英語を学ぼう！

子どもたちにとって、英語を学び始める絶好のチャンスです。幼い子どもたちはもちろん十分に言葉を繰り返すなどの期待はできませんが、しかし話す能力を伸ばすにつれて、聞いて学び、自分自身で英語をもっと使ったりできるようになります！私たちは生徒と色々なおもちゃで遊びながら英語が学べる体験学習をしたり、絵や歌を使ってコミュニケーション能力を育てていきます。またお母さんも英語を学び、自信を持って家で英語を使えるようになる機会です。

Early Learners 幼児の英会話

Preschool and early elementary school-aged children are the perfect age to learn and develop their English skills with organized activities. While American Academy offers other courses, the school’s setup, activities, and resources are geared mostly for these students. The afternoon classes are two hours long and have many different activities as well as free time to have students come adjusted to English.

幼稚園と小学校の子供達はアクティビティで英語を磨く完璧な時期です。アメリカンアカデミーのアクティビティと教材はこの時期の子供たちに合わせて作っています。午後のクラスは主に2時間で色々なアクティビティします。英語に慣れる為の自由に遊ぶ時間もあります。

We start and end our day with free time so that students feel at ease in the classroom. It is also during this time that the student can speak freely and learn how to say the things they naturally want to say in English. We start formal instruction with circle time. This gives students vocabulary and grammar to say things we talk about every day. Circle time covers the same topics every day so students can review and use the same English day they come to American Academy.

毎日子供がリラックス出来るようにクラスの始まりの時と終りの時に自由に過ごすことができる時間があります。この時間は子供たちは自由に話して学びたい言葉自然に学びます。クラスはサークルタイムから始まります。日常的な言葉や文法を学びます。サークルタイムは毎日同じトピックについて話すため、子供たちも復習になり、すぐに話せるようになります。

We then use flashcards to learn our themed vocabulary and grammar. After we have learned the words and grammar, we do an activity with those words. Having already learned in English for an hour, we transition to an organized game. Although it seems like it is playtime, the students must interact with each other in English and are building their English speaking and listening skills while playing. We finish our structured learning with phonics, writing, and coloring.

カードでテーマの言葉と文章学びます。覚えた後この言葉でアクティビティをします。そしてずっと英語を使いながら一緒にゲームをします。子供たちは英語で交流しながらスピーキング・リスニング力を伸ばします。ゲームを続ける為には英語を使わなければなりません。そしてフォニックス学んだり書いたり、色塗りをします。

Elementary/Middle/High School Class 小中高クラス

Often students need more time to study English than the instruction they receive at school. American Academy offers after-school classes for students who want to have more speaking practice. We practice fundamental grammar by learning useful vocabulary and repeating example questions and answers using that vocabulary. We also have a free conversation, practice phonics and pronunciation, read together and provide homework for those who want it. These classes are tailor-made for each specific student and can be altered to fit each student's needs.

学校で与えられた英語の授業だけでは英語をしっかりと学ぶことは出来ません。アメリカンアカデミーは週に1回スピーキング練習のクラスを提供しております。実用的な言葉と例の質問と返事を繰り返して基本の文法を学ぶことができ、自由な会話、フォニックス、発音などを練習していきます。また宿題が欲しい方には提供します。個々のニーズに合わせてカスタマイズ可能です。
