Rimi and Gerard first met in the fall of 2015. They hit it off right away and continued to see each other almost weekly from then.   They both share a love of learning and push each other to be better bilingual speakers of English and Japanese.  They understand that language is a means to communicate and recognize that Japanese children need and environment where they can immerse themselves in English for more than an hour or two at a time.  This is why they started American Academy.
